For decades, the World Boxing Council has brought together the efforts, knowledge, and passion of many individuals: the best referees, judges, supervisors, doctors, and experts in various areas of boxing, all dedicated to training the best ring officials in the world.

Our determination to continually promote the excellence of our ring officials is not about seeking personal recognition or popularity as an organization. Instead, we are deeply committed to safeguarding the well-being of boxers and preserving the integrity of our sport. We understand that our work can positively or negatively impact the health, careers, and dreams of our athletes, their families, and their teams.

The WBC has always been distinguished by its dedication to staying abreast of new knowledge, testing new approaches, incorporating new technologies, and seeking innovations in every area that can make our sport safer, more engaging, and fairer.

I am confident that the World Boxing Council will continue along this path, setting the course for our sport through initiatives like WBC University. We know there is much work to be done, and this excites us. I echo the profound gratitude my father always expressed toward the many people who have devoted their valuable time and the best of themselves to training generations of ring officials. Together, over all these years, they have built a true family.
